The Farmhouse
This is a story that comes from afar, that spans several generations, first with my grandfather Vittorio, a tireless farmer and then with my father Alfiero, a courageous innovator. And it is thanks to him that, in 2001, the farm began producing wine.
With the perseverance and concreteness, typical of old farmers, the Cascina San Giovanni farm has grown year after year both from a structural and qualitative point of view. The winery is always expanding and evolving with the aim of improving itself. It starts from the enhancement of the grapes through the use, during the winemaking, of modern and innovative winemaking techniques combined with peasant wisdom.
Fundamental to my family is the respect for nature, the care of the land, biodiversity and vineyards, the true beating heart of the company. These are wines that tell an authentic family story, written and still to be written.
Cascina San Giovanni also offers you a wide selection of fruit and vegetables grown on our farm with passion and respect for nature using only low environmental impact systems, which you can buy directly in our store or at the various markets in the various cities.
